Serenade of the Onion Soup Bowl - SOLD

10"x12
oil on panel

The onion soup bowl is from my Fiestaware collection and it is being serenaded by the little carved wooden figurine that I inherited from my mother, very European.  I have several of these bowls with covers in other colours as well as similar sugar bowls because I love their forms and will be using them in future paintings (NOT for onion soup or sugar, of course).  I will have to learn how to remove the camera´s date from the photo. Sorry about that.
I was asked to go up to the studio where I used to paint and pick up some canvases I left there and had forgotten about.  Two are half finished and there are four very large unused canvases, so I will be working on much larger pieces for the rest of the year, but will continue doing the small ones too.
