Loved painting this old watercolor paintbox which belonged to my grandfather as a boy (we're talking 1880s). Will include it, opened, in a future painting. Another favorite is the red vintage Fiestaware mixing bowl, which is really more orangey, same color as the nasturtiums. I kind of like the light reflection on the box.
