Cuban drums
18x23.5 This was done in about two hours, a happy result for me, as I used a large brush so that I couldn't fiddle with details.  This was actually done over a previous painting, an unsuccessful  portrait, which can be seen in the dark background.  The item between the drums is a large conch shell.  I would have continued to "finish" this painting but my dear teacher, Alejo Jacobo, stopped me in time.
